Halloween is an amazing festival, which is celebrated almost all, around Europe on the eve of October 31st every year. Initially, the concept of Halloween revolved around the ideas of involving frightening or unnatural acts. But, with the passage of time, this idea was quite shifted into a fun-filled festival with the subtraction of activities which could be harmful to the humans.
Halloween without Halloween costumes?!
There is no possible way on Earth for the children and even the adults to celebrate the festival of Halloween without setting up some distinctively special and unique kind of clothes for the day. On this day, people usually dress up in peculiar supernatural figures ranging from ghosts to witches, and Vampires to a lot more.
How this idea originated?
The history of Halloween originates from the Celtic festival of Samhain. Indeed, there have been many modifications in the way they celebrated Halloween then, and the way it is celebrated now. But, the concept of Halloween costumes was existing at that time too, and is taken on, as it is. [1]
Use of masks:
It is one of the significant aspects of Halloween. People wear distinctive masks along with their spooky homemade or purchased Halloween costumes. There are different beliefs and aspects behind the wearing of masks. The traditional beliefs refer to the idea of wearing costumes and masks in order to keep them protected from the ghost and supernatural figures. Some people wear it for enjoying the phases of parties and activities. It also forms help for the high-class people who can participate in the parties where their mask won’t let them be recognized. Every year, people come up with a huge range of ideas for their Halloween costumes. The companies are also always on their toes to release unique designs for the festival. But there are certain common characteristics that are shared by all Halloween costumes which include the costume to be creepy, frightening, Spooky, terrifying scary and for sure bizarre.

With no doubt, people start preparing for Halloween every year as soon as they have finished celebrating the previous one. The notable Halloween costume ideas range from getting dressed as pirates to zombies, witches to vampires, political personalities to the characters of Star war, Mega Man to emoticons, flying genie to the robot couple and a lot more. Halloween parties:
Parties are an important part of the celebrations of Halloween. People attend the party setups in neighbours and all over the towns, showcasing their amazing costumes and entertaining themselves with scary sweets and decorations together.
This year we decided to be Harley Quinn characters. We attended the Annual Moonfest event in West Palm Beach. We wandered the streets full of different characters, enjoyed good food and some scary haunted house.
