Let’s start with the best tip first, we booked our package using the site Travelocity and you know why? Because such sites offer great packages for air transportation and hotel stays. And we are glad that we made the best choice. So, whenever you plan your trip to New York, don’t forget to take this into consideration.

If moving in sequence, the next part was to reach from the airport to the hotel. The thing is that whenever you are in a new place you have so many questions in your mind and many communication gaps with the people around you. But if your plan is good enough, you can make a good start. So, what we did was that we booked the transportation from the airport to the hotel via the site Goairlinkshuttle which offered us an ultimate package one could seek for. Indeed, our ride from the airport to the hotel was filled with excitement. We were ready to explore this city which holds all the aspects of beauty and on a lighter note many rumours too.

Now, coming to the hotel, we had booked our package of stay in the Manhattan hotel. Though as an individual you can understand that whenever you are planning a trip you don’t seek for luxury at once. Instead your target is to seek for the affordable prices. So, did we, the hotel was not too luxurious, but with no doubt filled with all the aspects of comfort, one can seek. We enjoyed a good sleep, but wait, I forgot to tell you one thing. Before going to bed, we could feel the feeling of accomplishment and satisfaction. As we were about to explore the place, which was on our bucket list for a long-time, next morning. Can you imagine yourself in our position and feel that feeling? Feels great, Right?

So, the next morning was different. We could feel something different from the very start of the day. We wanted to leave our beds as soon as we could rather than lying in and being lazy as we all usually do (In fact, every individual does, don’t you?). We went to have some coffee. And while we were chit chatting and setting up the plan for a visit so that we do not miss any of the top places, one could clearly notice the excitement in our eyes. Well, we would like to validate one fact here that New York City is the city of people.

So, let’s begin then and explore the top places to visit in the New York:

Our first place, The Time Square:

Do you know about Time Square? Well, this place is an ultimate tourist spot and guess what? The headquarters of the New York Times (the magazine name everyone knows, don’t you?) remained in this area for nine years. So, we could feel the vibes of all the stories we had ever read in the New York Times because they seemed to revolve around us in a great way. Honestly, we could feel like a writer at that time (Well, just the feeling though).

The lights were amazing. It is also said that this place never sleeps. Another best part about this area was the people. People from different cultures, different languages and different backgrounds who were also trying to digest the beauty of the place like us.

Next comes, Madame Tussauds:

Queen Elizabeth

Are you starstruck? Well, without any doubt we have been huge fans of numerous celebrities while growing up. The feeling of seeing “them” was just amazing. Also, we were able to pose with almost all of them. (Well, wax statues of them for sure, but what difference it makes, does it?). It was great fun to pose with the Frankenstein, Jennifer Aniston, and who can forget the Kardashians and Johnny Depp for sure. So, don’t forget to collect some selfies with the famous stars to brag about whenever you visit in New York.

We had a great time while roaming around the Madame Tussauds. We even enjoyed the virtual version of being a Ghost Buster just like the ones in a movie named “Ghost Buster”. It just seemed that our internal ghost came out (indeed, it was a fun experience).

Off to Greenwich Village:

How can we not visit the Greenwich village and relish the experience of standing in the apartment of Carrie Bradshaw! Greenwich Village is known for a number of reasons. We were able to feel the Bohemia vibe, which is an important part of the history of this place.

And this place holds an amazing aspect of allowing the individual to visualize the site of the famous show Sex and City because it is the set of that show. (For sure!) We felt amazing while roaming around the streets of this village.

And yes, how can we forget to mention, we got some amazing collection of selfies while stopping by the apartment which was featured in the world’s famous TV show “Friends”!

Fun fact is that only outside of the apartment was filmed for the movie, but the inside of the apartment was staged in California.

The symbol of the New York City, The Statue of Liberty:

We came to New York and how is it possible that we do not visit the Statue of Liberty! The amazing part about the statue is that it constitutes of the aspects of history and traditions. When we looked at the statue, we didn’t feel it, even for a moment, that it is a stone structure instead one can visualize it as a living being. Don’t forget to take the ferry to it and enhance your knowledge with its history.

Well, here comes an amazing tip for you guys. In order to visit the summit of the statue, you have to book your tickets 3 months before and guess what? We were able to do that. And if you also want to relish this amazing experience, then book your tickets from the site Travelzoo. As it proved to be very beneficial for us and hopefully will be for you too.

Phantom of Opera:

Next comes the Phantom of Opera. We did not want to miss this musical. And guess what? We were lucky enough to be part of the anniversary production of this musical (Bravo!). All that scenario ranging from the staging to the acting and the side of actors was mesmerizing.

We were lucky enough to find the good sits and if you want that too, get your tickets from the site we did and for your help here is a site Ticketnetwork.

Time to visit the Brooklyn Bridge:

One of the days of our vacations constituted of our visit to the Brooklyn bridge. The bridge was so amazing. The geometry of the bridge revealed its magic as we walked on it from the Subway.

The surroundings were magical and the residents, as well as courtyards, were so clean and tidy. And the best part is that we were able to experience the sunset from the bridge which was simply a magical spell.

The National Memorial and Museum:

Where New York City holds many traditions and happiness, it has also got one sad part embedded in it. So, we wanted to feel the pain of those souls and decided to visit the National Memorial and Museum. It felt as if we entered the circle of an area when a number of souls are crying to know the reason for their death. Yes, we are talking about the tragic event of 9/11.

As we wanted to explore this pain a bit more, that’s why we purchased the best package. And if you also want to dive into the pain of those souls book the tickets from the site Trustedtours as they offer the best package to the routes of this tragic event.

How can one forget the New York Central Park!

The New York Central Park is indeed one of the amazing tourist spots present in the City. The best part about visiting the New York Central Park was that we gave our dream picnic a reality version.

So, soothing it was to enjoy the picnic in the calm greenery while in the city of skyscrapers. This is how our dream picnic came to reality. Also, we could feel as if the scene of Kevin (Referring to Home Alone) escaping from Sticky Bandits was happening right in front of our eyes.

And yes, the New York Pizza:

New York City holds the amazing taste of pizzas. We could find a number of pizza shops where each was offering a whole variety of tastes. An interesting fact here is that the first ever Pizzeria of USA was established in New York City.

Also, we were able to bet our taste buds with amazing pizzas as the prices are quite economical and affordable prices.

Time for gifts from Souvenir shops:

Well, we decided to break the myth of bringing the chocolates back for our families only. So, we got into some surreal souvenir shops. The souvenir shops of the New York City constitute of gifts of all types and touching the aspects of different traditions around the globe.

Well, being honest, we got some pretty cool stuff.

All in all, this was all about our trip to the New York City. Now, even thinking back to it creates a sense of doubt because visiting the New York city was no less than a dream for us. And we cannot believe that this dream came true. But, it’s true that with the right potential and energy invested in the right direction can bring life to all of your dreams. Though they seem impossible at times, but keep struggling for them – all things possible.

So, are you ready to visit New York City? Well, you should visit New York because it has got amazing aspects. As well as the traditions which will make your visit here to be none less than a complete fantasy coming to life.
